AJS-QLD Committee members take formal roles at EXPO 2025 OSAKA

Three of our Committee members have taken on formal roles at EXPO 2025. They will provide the AJS-QLD newsletter with updates throughout the duration of the EXPO, and will return with a wealth of additional knowledge and skills to further enhance ties between Queensland and Japan.

Julie Yamamoto
Deputy Operations Manager, Australian Pavilion
Julie’s previous role has been Principal Project Officer, Agribusiness Policy and Industry Development, Trade and Investment, Dept. of Agriculture & Fisheries, QLD

Shannon Whiley
Protocol/Visits Officer, Australian Pavilion
Shannon’s previous role has been Cultural Affairs and Public Relations Officer, The Consulate-General of Japan, Brisbane

Lawson Dibb
Lawson will be starting an assignment at the Australian Pavilion in Expo 2025 mid March – details yet to be formally announced.
His current role is Trade Account Manager, Linkd Tourism.
