Dear members and friends of the Australia Japan Society Queensland.
あけましておめでとうございます。今年もどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
Happy New Year!
The year of the Rabbit is here and the AJSQ is looking forward to bringing you more great events than ever in 2023. So, I’m writing to all of you, to give you a sneak peek of what we’ve got cooking.
Our free Webinars are back! Keep an eye on the newsletter for dates and topics or follow us on Eventbrite to find out as we post them.
Networking and business events
With Japan being one of Queensland’s biggest trading partners there has never been a better time to find out what’s going on and meet people in various industries in Japan. The dates aren’t fixed yet, but keep an eye out in April and August.
Cultural events
After a year’s hiatus, the Chakakai day to come and try flower arranging and tea ceremony is on again and of course, in October our signature evening in the gardens at Mt Cootha is back. We’ve pushed it back to October for better light this year so make sure you have your picnic blanket handy.
Education Events
Education events and competitions are also being planned and we’ll give you some details closer to the time.
We have a great year ahead of us, with some fantastic events – many of which have discounts for members- and there will be some members-only events also throughout the year as well, so make sure your membership is up to date.
But most importantly of all, we wish you all a safe, prosperous and wonderful 2023.
Warmest wishes for the year of the Rabbit,
David Shield | President | Australia Japan Society Queensland
