It was a sellout event on 31 October when the Society celebrated another very successful ‘An Evening in a Japanese Garden’.
Guests were temporarily transported to Japan as they enjoyed a twilight picnic on the lawns of the Japanese Garden in the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens before being treated to an evening of Japanese cultural performances.
AJS-QLD was delighted to welcome the Acting Consul-General of Japan, Brisbane Ms IWAMORI Tomoko as our special guest for the evening.
Thank you to our traditional Japanese cultural performers of Japanese dance, Koto and Okinawan music.
