Due to business and product offerings expansion over the last 15 years, and with World Expo- Osaka in 2025, Japan Holidays is seeking the skills and proven expertise of a successful travel consultant who is passionate about customer service and has an expertise in the Japan Travel Market and speaks fluent Japanese.
Our business model is both unique and adventurous and we are proud to have built a reputation of sustainable tourism with suppliers in Japan, leading retail travel agents and clients globally.
In this position, you will be responsible for the sales of a portfolio of products & services to a client base of retail agents as well as the consumer direct. You will also be encouraged to find new business through your networks and connections and be dedicated to a premium service to all customers.
To be successful for the position you will ideally have been a travel consultant for a large retail organisation where the disciplines and procedures of a successful travel consultant has been instilled.
Knowledge of Sabre or similar booking systems is highly desirable. Japanese language both written and verbal is essential and a broad knowledge of Japan and its’ tourism offerings is highly desirable. Opportunities for developing your career may lead to escorting tours and designing and delivering new tours and adventures for Japan Holidays.
The passion for Japan is a must.
Opportunities to attend familiarisations and escort tours in Japan will be forthcoming to the successful candidate with time and performance.
A competitive package with superannuation will be on offer depending upon skills, knowledge, proven experience and success.
Training on site in Head office, in Kingscliff, Northern NSW for a period of time will be essential and part of your package for orientation and onboarding.
