Nikkei Art in a Transnational Perspective

Local artist and AJSQ member, Elysha Rei, has just co-authored an article published in Densho, titled Nikkei Art in a Transnational Perspective .

In this collaborative reflection, four Nikkei researchers from the United States, Canada, Brazil, and Australia share insights from their ongoing project examining how contemporary Nikkei art and artists engage with themes of memory and identity across borders.

Elysha has an upcoming exhibition in Brisbane in October and details will be included in future newsletters.
