Congratulations to Catherine Zhang from the University of Queensland and Helen Zhang from Griffith University, this year’s recipients of the AJS-QLD’s annual Dr Fujiko Chamberlain (OAM) Award, for achievement in Japanese language studies.
Special thanks to Mr GOMABUKO Junji, Consul-General of Japan, Brisbane who presented Catherine and Helen with their awards at the Society’s end of year Bounenkai event on 16th November.
Catherine and Helen, the 13th and 14th recipients of the award, each received a certificate, $100 and a year’s free membership to the AJS-QLD.
