Congratulations to Olivia Turner from the University of Queensland and Taryn Blower from Griffith University, recipients of the AJS-QLD’s annual Dr Fujiko Chamberlain (OAM) Education Award, for achievement in Japanese language studies in 2024.
Special thanks to Ms HANAI Ikuko, Deputy Consul-General of Japan, Brisbane who presented Olivia and Taryn with their awards at the Society’s end of year Bonenkai event on 20 November.
Olivia and Taryn, the 15th and 16th recipients of the award, each received a certificate, $100 and a year’s free membership to the AJS-QLD.
