The Australia Japan Society of Queensland is proud to again host its annual Japan Careers evening on Friday 8th August. We are again honoured to co-host with the Consulate General of Japan, Brisbane, for the delivery of the event.
|
This annual event highlights the advantages of studying the Japanese language and connects the audience to professionals who have learnt Japanese and have successfully utilized the language as part of their career paths. The event is targeted at University and High School students.
|
|
A representative from the Consulate – General of Japan will also present information on next year’s JET Programme. The JET program is a Japanese Government initiative and has provided the platform for hundreds of Queenslanders to work in Japan and deepen their understanding of Japan.

Australia Japan Dinner 2025

|
As part of this year’s Japan Month celebrations in Brisbane, we are again inviting all members and guests of Australia-Japan organisations in Southeast Queensland to the Australia-Japan Dinner.
|
The evening will include a guest speaker, cultural entertainment and a three-course dinner and drinks.
|
The event will provide a unique opportunity for members and guests from a wide range of Australia-Japan related organisations to meet and celebrate our shared interest in Japan.
|
This will be a very popular event and seats are limited so please book early via the link below to avoid disappointment. (Note if you wish to sit with other participants, please make a note in the booking form when booking).
