The Asia Pacific Screen Awards are the region’s highest accolade in film where cinematic excellence shines. With films from 78 countries and areas in the region, APSA honours filmmaking that best reflects its cultural origins and the diversity of the Asia Pacific.
Over 3000 films have featured in competition and while they cover varied genres, styles and scope, they have all been united by their diversity. Each film tells its own unique story in its own way, from its own country of origin.
The four-day event will enable local filmmakers, nominees and international delegates to engage through a series of panels and presentations, roundtable discussions, networking events, workshops and screenings.
The full list of nominations for the 16th Asia Pacific Screen Awards and the full Forum programme will be announced on October 4.
