The Australia Japan Society of Queensland congratulates Committee member, Sara-Jane Seery, and valued AJS-Q collaborator Nathan Williams on their selection in the upcoming Australia-Japan Youth Dialogue (AJYD).
The AJYD is an independent and non-partisan diplomatic initiative dedicated to strengthening the bilateral relationship with and through future leaders.
The AJYD seeks to be the premier initiative for the promotion of young leaders and ideas that will strengthen and support the future of the Australia-Japan relationship. Sara-Jane and Nathan will join 16 other delegates from both Australia and Japan in the 2021 program.
The delegates span from a diverse range of background and sectors including the arts, business, defence, education, health, international development, law and technology.
From 14 November, this cohort of diverse leaders will be immersed in five days of learning and connection, united by a common aspiration to strengthen the Australia-Japan relationship.
